Reflection of Self With a Bug in The Morning

Chanin Wetchayanwiwat

Chanin Wetchayanwiwat was born in Bangkok, Thailand. Chanin graduated from KIS International School with an International Baccalaureate diploma in 2016. He also has a Bachelor of Arts from Temple University Japan under the program of Tyler School of Art. Most of his studyings were dedicated to motion graphic design and photography.

While studying in Thailand, Chanin mainly focuses on the social issues that occured in Thailand. Most of the time he would question the norm of Thai society and present his perspective about the topic through his artworks.

After moving to Japan, Chanin was intrigued by the number of museums and artworks he  encountered. He slowly shifted his focus from drawing and painting towards moving images and projection as well as his field of interest. Chanin enjoyed exploring the relation of people and society itself more than questioning the right and wrong of society. His understanding about the cause of society seems to develop into a deeper understanding. Most of his later works were presented with open-ended questions or ideas rather than a direct honest perspective of his.
